Susan Earl’s Debut Short Film ‘Deep Storage’ to Screen at Geena Davis’ Bentonville Film Festival this May.

‘Deep Storage’ supported by Screen Australia and produced by Happening Films (Downriver, The Wilding) was completed in September last year. Staring Miles O’Neil and Alice Ansara the film is an affecting romantic comedy about a loner who finds love in a most unexpected place. Susan’s script was the 1st place winner of the 2015 Slamdance Screenplay Competition and then went on to receive funding from the Hot Shots short film fund.
“I wanted to make a film that I’d like to see. Deep Storage brought together two ideas that I’d been playing with for a while. What makes a home feel like home? And storage facilities; why are they now so prevalent? Why do people keep so much stuff? How do objects relate us emotionally to our sense of home” Says Susan Earl.
The film which had its International Premiere at FLiCKERFEST has now been invited to screen at Bentonville Film Festival. The Bentonville Film Festival is an American film festival in Bentonville, Arkansas that focuses on diversity. It was founded by actress Geena Davis and ARC Entertainment executive Trevor Drinkwater.
Deep Storage will screen at Bentonville Film Festival May 3, 2017 2:20 pm.
